In the video I explain how to use Audio Hijack to increase your control and options for audio capture, using OBS as the example for receiving mic and game audio. I go over how to setup your mic with a noise gate, how to balance game audio with your voice, and optionally route your game audio at 100% volume for a separate audio track (useful for local recordings that exclude your mic).
This method is far less restrictive than using a standalone utility and shouldn't cause any device conflicts if you use any of the 3 mentioned in the video.
