We convert your favorite web apps into
desktop apps with their own dedicated launcher icon

Here's how it works
Applicationize generates a Google Chrome extension that embeds your favorite web app and places a custom shortcut icon in your app launcher when you install it.
In the 'Choose an app' window, click Google Chrome. To easily open Chrome later, add a shortcut to your taskbar: On your computer, open Chrome. In the Windows taskbar at the bottom, right-click on Chrome. Click Pin to taskbar.
Don't worry if that's all nonsense to you — it's dead simple to applicationize a web app: simply enter its URL, download a customized Google Chrome extension, install, and enjoy.

- Found a great way on Chrome Version 75.0.3770.100: 1) go to the website you want to convert to an app. 2) click on three dots / more tools / Create Shortcut + make sure to tick 'open in new window' That's it - you now have an app that you can pin to your dock and you can cycle through them with cmd +.
- Jul 09, 2020 Make sure that the “Search engine” setting shows your preferred search provider. In some versions of Safari, this setting is in the “Search” tab. Remove AdvancedProcesser from Chrome. Reset Google Chrome settings to remove AdvancedProcesser adware.
